The first blog post of Pattycake Lane! I am so excited to finally be doing this. I'm Jessica and I have a need to be creative. This blog and my Etsy shops are the outlet for that creativity. I'm a 20-something mother of one adorable little boy and I live in Northern Utah, almost on the Idaho border. My two main creative talents are in sewing and graphic design. My mom is an amazing seamstress, following a very cool family tradition of sewing excellence that goes way back to the Utah pioneers... maybe further. I have inherited a lot of sewing skills that have been passed down through the years. The graphic design skills I got in college.

Sewn goods are the main focus of PCL, but I do also have another awesome Etsy shop. It's called Perfect Printables. It's an all-digital shop and I sell cool things like digital illustrations and scrapbook supplies that can be purchased in digital file format. It allows the user to do all kinds of awesome things. I get a lot of digital scrapbookers and a ton of people just looking for an easy, affordable gift or wall art that will look great when they get it printed.

Anyway, here's a sneak peek of what's coming up for PCL. I've already sold a lot of these hats and have even more custom orders for them, so it may be a bit before these start showing up in my Etsy shop. These hats are SO CUTE. I just had a booth at a small local boutique full of these hats and the response was awesome.

I'll also be getting some super cute baby boots in as I have time to sew them up. I sold every pair I had at the craft fair this weekend, so you'll have to wait to see photos, but I promise they're coming soon!
